Alright so I'm heading out of the Las Vegas McCarran International airport at 6:00AM on August 26th. Which means I'll be leaving St. George around 2:00AM. Sounds fun, right? I'll board my plane and head to my first layover in Chicago at the famous O' Hare International airport. It's supposed to be really architectually beautiful! I'll have 5 hours to spare there so I'd love to do some exploring! Hopefully that will be an option because being stuck in an airport for 5 hours isn't desirable..Then I will board the huge Scandinavian airliner and head across seas to Stockholm, Sweden. That flight will last about 11 hours!! Kill me? Put me out with some Anastesia and I'll be fine. Anything but that. Haha but really..I KNOW for a fact I will probably be on the verge of insanity by the end of that flight. I do have a window seat, though. In fact, I have a window seat on every single one of my flights! So that'll make things more tolerable. After a hour and a half layover in Sweden, I'll jump on a red eye to Vilnius! After 24 hours total of travelling and napping in airports, I'll be in my new home with my new roommates and (possibly) host family :) I'm so very excited I can hardly contain it!
On my way home around Christmas time, I'll have a layover in Copenhagen, Denmark (fricking awesome!!!??) and one in San Francisco, which I've always wanted to go too. It's also a 5 hour layover, so hopefully I'll get to explore San Francisco a bit! I'm about 1 1/2 months away, you guys! I really hope you enjoy reading this blog. The reason I'm writing it is to keep in touch with people at home or for random stumblers to have something nice to look at! Anyway, keep coming back. When August comes, I'll be updating it hopefully 5 or so times a week. I want to fill this baby to the brim! Love to all xx.
